GP10 has been developed primarily to form a protective film on broken and/or fractured glass for the safety of working with and removal of broken and/or fractured glass panes. GP10 when dry, may be effortlessly removed by spraying water over the GP10 film, leaving for approximately 60 seconds then peeling away from the frame or wiping away with a wet cloth.

GP10 has been weathered in accordance to ASTM G155 simulating 1.5 years (3,500 hours) of natural weathering at CSIRO a NATA accredited laboratory. CSIRO report number EP176450. Refer to CSIRO assessment of GP10.
